In addition to offices, the basement, at ground level on east side of house, includes a utility room that presently houses a washing machine, drier, and, because present owners hold large parties, a back-up electric stove and three back-up refrigerators.  There is a tool room and a furnace room equipped with a number of shelves for storage.

A spacious room with linoleum flooring has its own entrance and is surrounded on two sides by three storage rooms for Christmas season and other items.  There is further storage under the side screened porch.

Stairway shown at left coming down from upper deck leads into a large dog run with two gates, one on either side of house.  Leading off other side of deck is a ramp for handicapped dogs, puppies and handicapped humans.  Door beneath left side of deck leads into office area.
